Girasole

I didn't come to Greece to taste pizza, but I thought I'd try how they make it in Greece. And I made a good decision - even though I didn't travel across Italy - this is one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The atmosphere and friendly service are just a bonus.

The pizza was delicious and one of the best we ever had. The stuff was very welcoming, warm but also professional. Definitely will come again if ever in Thessaloniki

We honestly didn’t expect the pizzas to be this good — it might actually be the best pizza in the city. It really surprised us! We wanted to customize one of the pizzas for our child, but we were told that no ingredients could be added beyond what’s listed on the menu. Still, the three pizzas we ordered were all excellent.

We found the restaurant from the google rating and that is what they really deserve. The taste of the pizzas are super duper and the prize is very decent. We paid 25 € for 2 pizzas and 1 pasta . I can definitely go there again.

The pizza at Girasole was delicious, with a perfectly baked dough that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The flavors were well-balanced, making for a really enjoyable meal!

From an Italian guy: the pizza is the best so far I tasted in all Greece, not just Thessaloniki, that’s a real Neaples style pizza, dough at minimum aged 48 hours, topping very good! Also the panini are worth a try, very good ingredients!

Everything about this place is amazing. The service was great, the pizza and beer one of Ig not the best I’ve ever had, and the place itself looks really great, it’s really aesthetic and it had a really good vibe. The food itself came in 10 minutes so I really recommend going there

Went for the Marinara with additional anchovies. OMG, what an amazing thin base pizza. Cool setting round a square/playpark with lots of families out eating and socialising, even at 9:40pm on a Tuesday. Had some amazing meals in Thessaloniki so far, and this may be the cheapest, but it's defo up there on quality and flavour. Definitely recommend 👌
